3:15-4:15 PM – Regional Dance Development Initiative (RDDI) Presentation - RDDI is a program of the National Dance Project which provides professional growth for dancer artists primarily through a 10-day "dance lab" designed to refine work, hone public presentation skills, and strengthen partnerships between artists and presenters. Plans for a Chicago-based lab are underway for 2016 and, while reflecting back at the lab that took place in Minnesota in 2011, Christine Tschida and Michele Steinwald will introduce the opportunities for presenters and choreographers to discuss the changing nature of dance programming, how to build new audiences together, and expand the resources to support local dance makers and provide a meaningful exchange through this initiative.
4:15-4:45 PM - Creative Minnesota Presentation - Sheila Smith, Minnesota Citizens for the Arts
4:45-5:15 PM - Campus Walking Tour - Join co-host, Dick Kettering, for a short campus stroll to see some of the highlights, the gothic-style 1872 chapel, the new community walkway, the refectory, the Hirst Library and other points of interest.
5:30-7:00 PM– Picnic Dinner – Burger, Brats and Brews – Picnic Grounds (near The Inn) - inside in case of rain
7:30-9:30 PM– Showcases – Newhall Auditorium – Shattuck-St. Mary’s
9:30 PM– Bonfire (with beverages and smores!) – Picnic Grounds (Local Southern Minnesota craft beers and sodas provided or BYOB)

9:45-11:30 AM–MPN Presenters Meeting - Agenda items include MN Arts Tour, Calendary for 2015-2016, Arts Midwest, Joint WPN/MPN summer conference, and more!
LODGING INFO:
The official MPN Conference Hotel is The Inn at Shattuck-St. Mary's, the same building where most of the meetings will be held. MPN Conference rates for all rooms at The Inn are $100 nightly for Wednesday and Thursday and $135 for Friday. Only twelve rooms are available at The Inn, so make your reservations early. Ask for the MPN conference rate.
Dick Kettering personally recommends the Historic Hutchinson House and Vintage Ballroom and Suites. Both are within easy walking distance of the Paradise Center for the Arts.
